Factory reset

  1. Connect a keyboard or mouse
  2. Exit the Smartsign Android Player
    1. Keyboard: ESC or Ctrl+Alt+Backspace
    2. Mouse: Right-click
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select Reset options
  5. Select Erase all data (factory reset)

Change the display orientation

Remember to switch the screen layout match the new orientation. If the player was already connected with a different rotation, it may need 1 or 2 additional restarts to fully apply the new orientation.

  1. Connect a keyboard or mouse
  2. Exit the Smartsign Android Player
    1. Keyboard: ESC or Ctrl+Alt+Backspace
    2. Mouse: Right-click
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select Display, skip if it does not exist
  5. Select HDMI
  6. Select Screen Orientation OR System Direction
  7. Select the desired rotation
  8. Exit settings and start the player

Connect to a hidden Wi-Fi network

  1. Click Wi-Fi and enable it
  2. Click Add network
  3. If you model is:
    1. BXP-100
      1. Click Advanced options
      2. Change Hidden network from No to Yes
    2. Other
      1. Skip to step 4
  4. Input the SSID
  5. Configure network security
  6. Save
